Kare-Kare for Lunch

Kare Kare is one of my favorite Filipino dish. 🙂 It’s quite a difficult dish to cook.

When I was young, we use to spend half day to prepare for this dish, but I never learned to cook it.

Thanks to Mama Sita’s Kare Kare Mix,  I was able to cook it for the first time and I can honestly say, you’ll come back for more!

Ingredients:

eggplant, string beans, pechay, tripe, pork, peanut butter, onion, garlic, & Mama Sita’s Kare Kare Mix.

1. Boil tripe & pork then set aside.

2. Saute it with onion and garlic.

3. Add the boiled broth with Mama Sita’s Mix.

4. Add peanut butter.

5. Add in the vegetables. Season according to taste.

Eat with family and friends! 🙂
